Our mission is to support physicians and their efforts to enhance the health of the community. We envision SCMA as an organization welcoming all physicians, respecting diverse interests and acting as a unifying force in the community by working to:

• Encourage mutual physician support and understanding.
• Strengthen and expand the role of the physician as patient advocate.
• Enhance physician leadership and success in the health care arena.
• Improve the health and well-being of the community.

Among its many activities, SCMA supports public health programs, maintains a directory of Sonoma County physicians and publishes an award-winning magazine. The association also offers educational, legislative and financial benefits to its members.
